Star High school is a co-education secondary school which Fr. Augustine founded and continues to support in Arusha, Tanzania. Following in the footsteps of the Founders of the Institute of the Apostles of Jesus who were very hard working and creative with a great love for the children of Africa. Fr. Augustine deemed it necessary that Star High School become a continuation of their work.
It was during the second part of the Chapter in 2005 that Star Academy was discussed, voted on, and adopted as one of the official ministries of the Apostles of Jesus. The adoption of Star by the Institute is affirmation that good education is essential to the children of Africa and that Star Academy will continue long after its founder/s are gone.
